The Elite Forces Division: The First Factor

During the final days of World War II recovered photographs taken by an American Special Operations soldier during a firefight recorded a series of eerie images of their single Nazi enemy.

He was flying.

Twenty-three American soldiers lost their lives to him before he was killed.

In 1955 the United States Marine Corps - Elite Forces Division was created to study and combat this new type of threat; the threat of those with power and powers beyond that of the norm. Truth was discovered in Myth, while fact found occupancy in folklore; revelations in religion could never be disclosed without destroying the faiths of all people. Tradition would be lost as chaos would be born.

Six months ago the United States was attacked by more of these super powered soldiers beginning a bloody campaign of terror. America’s standard forces cannot stop them.

The evil has come, the night is dark, and locking the front door matters not; for there is already someone else in this Nation’s home and they are not friendly.

The Endaeria Chronicles is a dark fantasy novel series that tells the tales of the mortals, the demons, and the Celestials after T’Nebrae, the demons home world, impacts and devastates the world of Endaeria causing the Apocalypse. In the post Apocalyptic Endaeria, the Kingdoms have been rebuilt, and mortals turn to war for control of the lands when a king comes to power through treachery and violence. Pagans and Demons, the new races, are not only targets, but used as allies or enemies in the mortal’s wars.

The desire of fallen demons is to be forgiven by the Eternal for their ancestor’s sins. They believe the change from fallen to forgiven will happen and they will be able to enter the Celestial Estate and serve the Eternal once again.

Endaeria and its people flourish in the light while T’Nebrae in darkness beneath its surface, tries to come to terms with the prophecy their Dark Lord foretold having met with his council of High Overlords, before his exile.

It was dawn before the fire finally died down. The smoke from inside Barron’s walls continued to escape into the air, the ashes of the flames victims dancing in the wind. Damaris watched from the safety of the tree’s shadows as the farmers and herders from the adjacent manors of Camden and Aster, carried out those bodies that weren’t incinerated on wagons, their faces almost unrecognizable. She was unaffected by the sudden wails of sorrow that ripped through the morning’s silence, damning their God Amil for allowing such a tragedy to happen. As if they willed it, the rain began to fall, making the townspeople’s tears indistinguishable as they mourned. Damaris wasn’t sure how many were dead at the Festival the night before. The fire took on a mind of its own after awhile, not relenting until her heart was satisfied. Those who ridiculed her burned. Those who harassed her burned. Those who possessed the mere thought of causing her and her family harm burned.

She wasn’t sorry for any of it.
